Cartrefi Clyd

Cartrefi Clyd (Welsh for cosy homes) is a partnership between the Switched On team at The Environment Centre, Datblygiadau Egni Gwledig (DEG), Cwm Arian Renewable Energy, Lightfoot Enterprises and Rounded Developments Enterprises to provide retrofit advice to homeowners. All partners have provided specialist energy saving or retrofit advice services for many years and are community energy groups or social enterprises based locally in Wales. They understand the local geography, climate and building types. 

Cartrefi Clyd (Welsh for Cosy Homes) offer a subsidised service to help homeowners make their properties fit for the future, whilst managing the challenges associated with retrofit. Put simply, retrofit means applying improvements to your home to make it as clyd as possible.
