What can we repair?
Simply put, we can repair most household items
Typical items include electrical goods, technology, ornaments, clothes, bicycles for basic maintenance & guidance, jewellery, computers and more!
Is there anything you can’t repair
Unfortunately, we cannot repair microwave ovens, white goods, safety equipment, commercial goods or televisions, and nothing as large as a washing machine or fridge.
I can’t make it to your repair cafe, are there others in Swansea? Where else I can go?

Can I get involved as a volunteer?
We are always looking for volunteers to get involved with our repair cafe, there are also several other repair cafes in Swansea looking for volunteers.
Can I be a fixer?
Each month our repair cafe volunteers fix things that would otherwise be thrown away. In doing so, they help the environment by saving resources, sharing skills with people that need things fixed and getting to meet like-minded people.
I’m not a repairer can I still be a part of Repair Cafe?
We are in real need of people who can meet and greet at our repair cafe - matching what needs to be fixed with the right fixer, taking photos to document and share what we do, helping visitors to fill out their paperwork or online forms and even promoting the repair cafe and answering questions from the public.

What can I expect at repair cafe?
STEP1.
When you arrive you will be asked to read the house rules and sign a form to say you agree with them. Alternatively, if you are tech-savvy you can complete this part of the form online here.
STEP2.
After filling out the necessary paperwork we will match you up with one of our friendly volunteers who will ask you about your item and attempt your repair. If your item needs spare parts we will be able to advise you where you can order them from and we will happily fit them for you at our next repair. Or as is often the case we will advise somewhere in Swansea you can pick them up and we will be able to make the repair that day.
