Growing Volunteers and Access to Local Produce
Connected urban volunteers with growing projects in beautiful rural areas of Swansea. Volunteers learned more about sustainable food production and community growing. Individuals and groups we invited for practical training sessions on the field, and offered support on their volunteer experience. Options for community transport and volunteer driving were offered. A trial was run exploring the benefits of subsidised veg boxes for low-income groups. Development worker Saara: prosiect1.bwydabertawe@gmail.com
