SEEF works locally with Swansea schools in a number of ways. A 'Green Envelope' is sent to schools three times a year at the start of term. The Envelope has information on forthcoming activities and events as well as training days for teachers and information on Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship. There is also a Directory of Providers updated annually, which includes 49 organisations and individuals that work with schools.
SEEF has organised a number of events for schools:
| October 2004 | Celebrating 5 Years of SEEF |
| October 2005 | Gors Community Primary School drop in event |

Teachers at ESDGC Conference
Publications include: ‘Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship Guidance for Schools’ - this publication gives schools guidance when writing their ESDGC policy and ‘Using Sites for Studying the Natural Environment in and around Swansea’ - a directory of information for schools and colleges.
SEEF publishes an annual booklet of INSETs for Swansea schools. The current booklet for 2007 – 2008 has been sent to all schools and is available HERE.
Earth from the Air Exhibition Workshops 2007
During June and July Swansea schools visited the Earth from the Air Exhibition and took part in workshops via the medium of Art on Global Citizenship. Three local artists David Marchant, Keith Bayliss and Alison Reffell explored the issues based on discussion and question raising. SEEF received funding from DFID (Department for International Development) and Welsh Assembly Government (WAG) via EES (Enabling Effective Support) for the workshops. SEEF also put on a Teachers Preview Event for the exhibition on 5th June, which coincided with the launch of the exhibition. Local teachers Bron Jones of Hendrefoilan Primary School and Liz Tucker of Cadle Primary School were instrumental in putting worksheets together.
Green Treasure Boxes
Green Treasure Boxes are currently undergoing a revamp with funding from DFID and WAG via EES.
