SEEF members can be found at many of Swansea's public events. The largest event that showcases the Environment and Sustainability is the annual Swansea Show at Singleton Park. Members of SEEF are to be found at the Eco Zone. (Details of opening times and ticket prices are advertised in the local press). You can find out what's happening locally from projects like Sustainable Swansea including the Sustainable Swansea Trail as well as the City&County of Swansea's Recycling Team competition to name but a few!
Swansea Show 2006 Eco Zone. An innovative use for plastic bottles as a substitute for glass in a greenhouse (minus it's roof which wouldn't fit in the marquee!) St. Josephs Junior School will be using the greenhouse in their school grounds when completed.
SEEF produces an annual Environmental Events brochure, which is distributed throughout the Swansea area in April. It lists hundreds of events happening in Swansea from April to December e.g. walks, talks and activities. You can pick up a brochure at most public venues and Swansea City Council's website www.visitswanseabay.com or look at Greenlight the Environment Centre's monthly publication or 'What's on' magazine published bimonthly.
