Low Carbon Swansea - Project Manager
An experienced manager is required to run the newly established Low Carbon Swansea project.
The Project is developing a coordinated, integrated and sustainable approach to reducing carbon emissions across all sectors in the City and County of Swansea area. Closing date 8th February. Details HERE
Come and Grab a Bargain!
The Environment Centre has a second hand table top sale on in the shop! Items on sale include framed pictures, drinking glasses, mugs, candle holders, toys, figures, a small blackboard, a selection of vinyl and even a dog basket!
Everything must go! All proceeds go to the Environment Centre.

Courses at the Environment Centre
Learn About Urban Permaculture
Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th February 2012
Learn how to apply the permaculture design system in an urban setting. A weekend course run by Coedenfach will cover: Permaculture Principles and Ethics, Working out our eco footprint, ‘My urban vision’, Personal and community transport, Community money systems, Community dynamics, Urban food growing design. Half Term Fun: Willow Weaving For Kids
Wednesday 16th February 2012 10.30am-12pm Only £7.50 each
For children aged 7 - 12, get crafty this half term! Have fun weaving willow into shapes such as dreamcatchers and flowers or fish and boats or have a go at creating something of your own, everything you make you take home with you. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian

Introduction to Willow Weaving
Saturday 3rd March 2012 2pm - 4pm £10 per person
Come and learn the ancient art of willow weaving on our adult workshop. Learn how to make simple stars, butterflies, flowers, woven hearts, or even a small frame basket. An enjoyable and relaxing few hours spent working with willow. All Materials Included. Booking Essential. Booking forms are available from bookings@environmentcentre.org.uk
