The Centre's Eco-annexe, available in the eveningThe Environment Centre has a large meeting space for hire on weekdays and evenings (not available on weekends).The Main Hall can seat up to 50 people, and is ideal for board meetings, training days, talks, presentations, lectures, conferences, workshops and interviews.

 

There is also an informal meeting space in our eco-annexe, which is available after 4pm on weekdays. It seats upto 12 people and also offers a small "multi-media" area with power supplies and ethernet cabling.

Equipment

The Centre can provide the following equipment to help your meeting run smoothly:
Data projector & notebook, OHP, slide projector, white screen, flipchart & pens, TV / DVD / Video player and CD / tape player.

 

Accessibility and Facilities

The Main Hall is on the first floor and can be accessed via the staircase or a newly installed platform lift.

The Centre also has an accessible toilet on the ground floor at the rear of the building, and a baby changing unit.

 

Refreshments

We can provide Fairtrade and organic tea and coffee at very reasonable rates, on a self service basis. Refreshments must be booked in advance of your meeting.

 

Catering

We use local caterers who can source local, organic and Fairtrade produce on request. Buffets can range from £4.95 - £6.95 + VAT per head, plus a small admin fee, and are booked a week in advance of your meeting. The Environment Centre has a policy of re-using all plates, cutlery and cups, so no “disposable” items are allowed in the buffets.
